I can confirm this bug on Epson Print CD , reverting back to wine version 0.9.12
solves the problem.
I have this error message:
"An installation support file 'c:\Program Files\Common
Files\InstallShield\engine\6\Intel 32\corecomp.ini' could not be installed.

I see the same behaviour, however have found how to run the installer.
If you run:
$ wine /mnt/cdrom/Setup/English/_s327.exe 1
The install will run and complete successfully. (Note the 1 at the end, this is
needed otherwise it complains of not having used the launcher.)
The reason the Setup.exe doesn't work seems to be because Setup.exe uses
ntvdm.exe and krnl386.exe. I found these using procexp on a Windows XP machine
whilst running Setup.exe.

This bug is confusing me. On one machine (FC5), everything works great. I can
even download a correct ie6sites.dat from server 207.46.198.30.
One another machine (FC4), things doesn't work good at all. *sometimes* a wget from
207.46.198.30 fails, sometimes not. Even more strange is that "wine ie6setup"
never even tries to contact MS server. I've verified this both with tcpdump and
using WINEDEBUG=wininet, winsock. On the working machine, I get:
fixme:ver:RtlVerifyVersionInfo (0x35087770,64,180000): Not all cases correctly
implemented yet
trace:wininet:DllMain 0x14870000,3,(nil)
trace:wininet:DllMain 0x14870000,2,(nil)

(L"http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6sp1/download/rtw/x86/ie6sites.dat" 72
80000000 0x35086c2c)
On the non-working machine, I only get:
trace:wininet:DllMain 0x61ac0000,2,(nil)
fixme:ver:RtlVerifyVersionInfo (0x7f8ae770,64,180000): Not all cases correctly
implemented yet

trace:wininet:DllMain 0x61ac0000,2,(nil)
trace:wininet:DllMain 0x61ac0000,3,(nil)
I've tested several versions of Wine. So, perhaps there are actually two
problems that causes this failure.

I believe there is a Direct3d bug with Diablo 2 1.00. DDraw mode works. I'm not
totally sure if wine is at fault.

I had the exact same problem, running FreeBSD 6.1, Wine 0.9.8, X11 KDE 3.5. I
followed Sean's advice and went to
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=34153&release_id=105
There I downloaded the arial32.exe font and installed it in wine (wine arial32.exe)
Although I couldn't read any of the text I assumed that the left button was
agree. After clicking that, the Arial font was installed. Then I ran winecfg
again, and everything looked great.
