It _can_ happen. Run user, monitor test to see that Wine does change resolution
while in virtual desktop.

Can you try disabling SLi? Perhaps something is going wrong there... (not verly

I've tested the game to check for what you said. I checked xrandr before and
while running Diablo 2. No refresh change occured, and I don't think what you
said is possible at all considering no mode change actually happened. What you
see is the gamma levels changing, and it's fixable in-game.
Note: When you use -w, the game just disables gamma changing.

i just installed demo again, and like i said, the 2 dlls you mention are
provided by the application. As for msvcp71 and msvcr71, i think they should
have been provided as well by civilization, anyway, they will (in near future)
not be provided by wine. Marking as wontfix.
