Yes, well, at this point I was beyond the "testing" stage and just wanted to
fix my installation.

Update on DAZ Studio 1.7.1.9 and wine-0.9.46-170-g54720c7
My above-mentioned problems appear to be result of an issue the ATI fglrx
driver. I have just checked with the XOrg ati driver and a cleanish xorg.conf.
The work viewport appears and works properly and there is appears to be less
graphical corruption on the other interface elements as well.
I can supply a log if needed.
Also, I have just noticed I made a typo in the winedebug settings for the
previous logs I supplied.
WINEDEBUG=+ddraw,+openg,+d3d,+x11drv should nave been
WINEDEBUG=+ddraw,+opengl,+d3d,+x11drv (and probably needed +warn=all as well)
Should I resubmit log with the correct settings? I don't want to spam the
Bugzilla with more useless debug logs.

Running wineprefixcreate won't necessarily update any changed registry entries,
but it will add any _new_ entries that weren't there previously. Again, this is
why it is encouraged to test with a clean .wine directory each time to
eliminate the registry as a cause of the error. Even though wineprefixcreate
will update your registry correctly most of the time, there are still times
when it won't (such as you reported). Again, this is something that will have
to be addressed by the time wine 1.0 comes out, but until this, this is still
very much an alpha project.

This fixme strongly suggests that something won't wrong but a fixme itself is
not a bug. I thought you know what doesn't work. Photoshop wants the Escape key
as a hotkey so maybe in some situations it's impossible to cancel an action
with Escape. But we would need some concrete information to open a bug report
for it.

Terminal just constantly repeats:
fixme:keyboard:RegisterHotKey (0x10024,99,0x00000000,27): stub
fixme:keyboard:UnregisterHotKey (0x10024,99): stub
Not sure what it affects but its probably not good to have it displaying that.

Could you write something more about the Register/Unregister hotkey bug - what
doesn't work?

I think we can close this one, can't we? DNS9 no longer crashes on startup.

You need to upgrade your version of wine to 0.9.46 at least. 0.9.33 is way too
old, and there has been significant work on the sound.
