Since a few days we are supporting OpenGL child window rendering (at least on
Nvidia hardware). This app should work properly. Can someone test it?

Since a few days we support opengl child window rendering (at least on Nvidia
hardware). Perhaps this fixes this program. You need wine from git.

Try WINEDEBUG=+wgl,+opengl wine appname.exe &> log and attach log to this
thread.
Perhaps you are suffering from a driver bug.

Hello,
just revisited.
Turned out the original IAT first thunks table was not the problem but the
process heap checks were.
See securom meta bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7065 (comment #24)
for my explanation.
If you have older wine version (<0.9.46), you need my process heap patch
(http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=8235&action=edit) or update to recent
GIT.
The game demo runs fine now.
Regards

Hello,
downloaded 1.53 and ran on wine 0.9.46+
No crash. No copy protection issues - though other user32/window related bugs.
I recommend this bug id to be closed.
See http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1517 for continuation.
Regards

Hello,
just revisited.
Yes, the patch helps to fix negative EDIT_EM_Scroll after SB_PAGEDOWN.
Program starts up only to run in another weird user32/window problem.
Small window is displayed with no content.
Double click the window caption and program systray icon will appear.
Double click program systray icon and the program main window will correctly
show.
Is there a reason the patch from
http://winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2007-September/043517.html didn't make
it into repository?
If the changes make it into GIT, this bug can be closed (and another opened for
main window issue).
AFAIK no copy protection issues left.
Regards

Now, it seems even more worse (or better).
The X Crashs now completly, but it "restart" itself...
But on this way, I don't get a output log, so I can'T say whats wrong with it,
or can you tell me a way to save the output ?

(From update of attachment 8400)
I am not sure if this bug is still considered active, but it still affects DAZ
Studio 1.7.1.9 under Wine 0.9.46 I can provide a fuller trace log if needed
(the whole thing is 6 megabytes)
