Yeah, this can be fixed using George's suggestion. It seems Wine doesn't come
with Times New Roman either. It does however come with Courier, so using that
works fine.

The program starts fine with native oleaut32 (the calendar plug-in requires
mfc42. So far I haven't found it killing the wineserver). By comparing the
oleview output I've found two differences between the program run with native
and built-in oleaut32: the native cannot load stdole2.tlb due to unimplemented
FileMoniker::ParseDisplayName and for [propput] functions the parameter is
called 'rhs' in native and with the function name in builtin. I'll check if any
of this is the reason of the crash.

Could someone please fix this?
I'm also encountering this on my Unreal Tournament installation using the
OpenGL renderer. This bug is not really related to Deus Ex but to the unreal
engine itself, more specific: the OpenGL renderer - even newer versions (from
http://cwdohnal.home.mindspring.com/utglr/) have the same error on exit bug.
And it's really annoying, plus the diff by Joshua doesn't break anything.

Oblivion Bink videos work in 0.9.46, with some sound stuttering at the
beginning, but it got well after few seconds.

I'd like to confirm that I'm still getting this in 0.9.46 as well. Same error
as posted above, only happens using D3D, does NOT happen using -opengl. Starts
scrolling that in the terminal window nonstop while zoning into an area that's
'busy' (Shatt, Org by bank, etc).
It can happen during the initial game sign in while zoning, or if I hearth back
to a city after having played a while.

This issue is related to OffscreenRenderingMode=pbuffer ONLY.
Using fbo the problem vanishes even for 0.9.40 and in 0.9.46 using fbo works
perfectly.
Using pbuffer the problem still persists in 0.9.46.

The patches http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2007-October/036761.html
and the next one have been applied to Wine Git so this should be fixed in Wine
releases starting from 0.9.47
