Just to flog a dead horse, I finally tried that same
cd-rom again, and the installer now gets to the
license prompt without crashing. So now even I know
the bug is fixed :-)

Seems there's a new regression with Office 2003, excel just crashes and Word
pops up a dialog box stating there's not enough memory to run

Please try installing Matlab in wine-0.9.48 or so.
I just tried the R14.1 cdrom, and it got all the
way to the license prompt, which is a lot better than it
used to do.

Try it now. I just ran the R14.1 installer, and it got
way further than before, all the way to where it
prompts for name, company, and PLP.
(I don't have a license, so I can't go further.)

simple stub
Simple stub is enough to make 3dmark start again in win2000 mode. The site
http://www.osronline.com/ddkx/kmarch/k103_3o6q.htm says it's obsolete anyway. I
don't know however where to put the declaration of BUS_DATA_TYPE. In the patch
i put it in winnt.h but i'm not sure that's the right place. From msdn site i
read it should be in ntddk.h, but wine does not have this include file. Anyone
an idea?

I'm the user who reported the problems with the Save for Web colours menu item,
and the lack of tablet pressure sensitivity in PS 7.0.
I'd love to help out by testing the tablet sensitivity with art rage. However,
Ambientsoftware no longer offer an .exe and while I can install it from the
MSI, it doesn't run. Is there an .exe installer around that I can try?
