Where do you see this as a stub? It's been implemented back in wine-0.9.24.
You need xinerama support for this to work. If you compiled Wine yourself, check
that you have proper development headers and working and properly setup libraries.

What exactly are you planning on storing there? Wine reserves that area so we
can catch any app that tries to read this place. So far the only "apps" that
tried that are some copy-protection systems.

Summary: joystick isn't working in Il2 in wine 0.9.30
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.30.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: sguk(a)rambler.ru
I had a game "Il2 Forgotten Battles + Pacific Fighters" running OK under wine
version 0.9.27
After I upgraded wine to version 0.9.30 Il2 stopped seeing my joysticks (I have
3 HID devices that are essentially joysticks).
I also have a utility program from Logitech called DXTweak.exe that reads and
shows the joysticks input. I ran DXTweak.exe under wine ant it seems to work
fine under both wine 0.9.27 and 0.9.30.
My operating system is Ubuntu Linux 6.10 (Intel x86)
I reproduced the above problem on two kernels: 2.6.17-10generic and 2.5.17-11generic
Hardware: CPU: Athlon 3500+, Mem: 2Gbyte, HDD: 250gb

Thank you for the confirmation. I am still trying to figure out how I could
install 2 different wine binaries in parallel under Suse, so I could narrow
down the version where the regression did appear.
I did read the how to for the regression test. I fear I would need more
detailed advices since I do not know anything about cvs. Also compiling has
become a nightmare for me, with the endless errors and warnings.

Trying to install the game Freedom Force V1.0 (original CD) from Irrational
Games using Wine 0.9.30 under FreeBSD 6.2 produces a page fault.
- No InstallShield-window appears (meaning here the window saying: preparing
the InstallShield wizard or so [I've the German version]). Wine crashes before.
- Same happens trying to install several other games (all using InstallShield):
f.e. Morrowind GOTY DVD.
