Trace with WINEDEBUG="+mmio,+avifile"
I can confirm this bug.
The attachment shows the trace of mmio and avifile, when I was trying to open
an uncompressed avi file without audio stream (plays fine with mplayer).
The file selection dialog tries to show a preview; I think therefore the error
shows up twice in the trace.
I'm using wine 0.9.33.

Patch to fix Dynamic C serial support
It seems the events are not being processed properly in the serial port
support. The workaround is to make wait_on() in serial.c wait for the event to
occur.
Note that the FTDI USB serial converter will not work directly, as it does not
support TIOCGICOUNT ioctl. I have also fixed the FTDI usb driver to work with
this if anyone is interested.
Download speed appears to be the same as running in win32, and processor
detection works.

This is kinda strange actually - I'm noticing a difference between using an
installed wine (using `make install`) and using the 'wine' executable directly,
without having it install system-wide (and the wine executably should be more or
less equal to wine-0.9.33 really)
Don't yet know what the cause is of that
