I'm using the X Server with AIGLX option turned on. I tested also with AIGLX turned off but the error is always the same. The version of X server is 7.2.0 RC2 About xrandr, I don't know if this behaviour is normal or not. It sounds like X is crashing, possibly when it's switching video modes. Does the logs for X reveal anything?
