Summary: MyScribe load but doesn't go past the login screen
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.35.
Platform: PC
URL: http://www.cafescribe.com/download/download.php
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: a.baravalle(a)open.ac.uk
MyScribe can be installed (even if with some problems), but after the
installation almost no operation is possible.
I can see the login window. The menus have the text scambled. If I type in the
login window, the text is scrambled, and doesn't log me in anyway.

A rough translation would be:
"Hi folks,
we're using Suse 10.2 and wine for a windows-based emulation program. It
generally worked without flaws. Support for German umlauts was a problem up
until version 0.9.27, version 0.9.35 fixed this. However, now the serial port
support is broken in 0.9.35, while it worked without any problems in 0.9.27. I
downgraded, of course. Is that a known problem or is there any configuration
options I need to change?
Greetings .. etc"
that being said, I'm surprised that Umlauts were broken before, and I have no
idea about the serial port stuff.

Summary: Wine menu in KDE doesn't build correctly
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.35.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rami.autiomaki(a)pp1.inet.fi
When installing programs with Wine, Wine's KDE menu does not build correctly.
All launchers for particular windows program go to lost and found folder in KDE
menu.
Desktop icons seems to build correctly.
Maybe this is caused by changes to the way menu items are created.

Tested in Kubuntu Dapper(Wine 0.9.34 and Wine 0.9.35) and Feisty(Wine 0.9.33)
