The registration dialog requires you to enter your date of birth. The year pulldown only goes down to 1988 initially. You can get it to show earlier years by selecting the oldest year and then pressing downarrow at the bottom, but the pulldown then goes away. Going back 26 years requires scrolling down to the bottom of that list 26 times, which is a lot of extra interaction. The app now exits quietly sometime after checking for the registry key "Software\\Mercury Interactive\\QuickTest Professional\\Rainbow" That registry key does not exist on Wine. Dunno if it does under Windows.
