Summary: uTorrent crashes under wine 0.9.34
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.34.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: power(a)telusmail.net
Using Ubuntu 6.10, Wine 0.9.34, uTorrent 1.6.1 (build 490).
uTorrent worked fine under wine 0.9.33. When I upgraded to wine 0.9.34, uTorrent
now crashes randomly for no apparent reason, and often when using right-click
mouse menus, again randomly, just more often than if I did nothing.
Sorry I don't have more details, I don't know much about this stuff.
There are 6 downloading torrents, 2 stopped/never started and 7 stopped/finished
torrents.
I also run the latest Beryl (as updated through Ubuntu's update manager.)
(And the component I selected to file this bug under is just a guess, as
suggested...)
:)
Thanks for your time and I hope to be able to contribute properly in the future.

... er, I'm pretty sure 99.9% of people are aware of NoCD patches. The point of
this bug is to have a milestone to link things to.
Please don't dig up bugs for the sake of stating the obvious.

I guess you can't read. Here it is again:
Additional Comments: Please *do not PASTE* logs and back traces, (attach them
instead).
> I just pulled tonight's git, emerged wine,
This makes no sense at all: do not use emerge, compile Wine from GIT as-is. DO
NOT strip Wine when installing! Or run directly from the build dir.
What does 'wine --version' say?
Please do not paste any garbage like `emerge --info` - that is gentoo specific.
If you'd like you are welcome to submit bug there. They might know what to do
with .... that.

I see the same crash. Clicking the X to close the app
causes a crash; the app catches the crash and puts
up a fatal dialog.

Whenever I try to run Aim 5.9 on my computer (Kubuntu Feisty) nothing loads.
Just the wine box that holds programs. I ran it in a terminal and it showed this:

RE: NWN Model Viewer:
Yup, I see that too. The toolset behaves slightly differently. Moving around
the toolset window doesn't seem to make it draw in the right "place".
Hitting Control-C, as I said, does. Also when you've done that, and the window
is in the correct location, rotating, and zooming with the middle mouse button
does not work as its supposed to. You have to get the window to refresh to see
the effects of your zooming/rotating.
<Shrug> /me not know, I'm just testing fixes as they come out.

My jaw dropped as it worked with WINEDEBUG=all, but continues to fail if I don't
specify the debug level.
