I can confirm this. I reverted to 0.9.29 and don't seem to have the issue any
more. I played for way longer just now than I was able to with the latest version.

More information hopefuly to come in the future, but for now the application's
developer (and CEO of Invelos) has chipped in with an offer of his support from
the applications perspective. Presumably, he will be able to make minor
adjustments to future releases to improve compatability, should this be necessary.
The developer (Ken Cole) can be contacted via his DVD Profiler user profile, here:

How fortunate that I'm raising a bug about OpenGL and not D3D, then.

Summary: Mouse unusable in Dungeon Keeper 2
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.37.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: trevor_boon(a)yahoo.com
with the advent of wine 0.9.37, the mouse is unusable. It jitters as if you had
two mice fighting for control. I've read somewhere that this is a problem with
wine's dinput translating relative reporting into absolute reporting, although
this was an old document. I'm unable to locate any setting or command line
option for DK2 to disable dinput. Is this a regression bug? I cannot tell, as I
couldn't even get the splash screen to show up on previous versions of wine. I
note that this issue is not evident when running DK2 under cedega, however I
can't really run DK2 under cedega either due to sound and crashing issues.
