Actually regression testing would be helpful.

The menu is ok in wine 0.9.37, but an intro movie is upside down,
and the full screen never seems to be used. Also seems like the
shadow is wrongly placed. (look at my attachment)
Audio is most of the time broken.
The game fills the console with:
fixme:d3d_draw:primitiveDeclarationConvertToStridedData Missing fixed and
unfixed vertices, expect graphics glitches

So instead of attaching all of this garbage please do the proper regression
testing as described here: http://wiki.winehq.org/GitWine#regression_testing

Don't run Wine as root - this is not supported. You should completelly remove
~/.wine directory, reinstall your program (as user!) and run said program (as user!)
Please attach output of `lsusb -t`

Test last night showed that installer still crashes if query for conversion
length is spiked to return one more WCHAR, so that the next conversion succeeds.
No change in behavior. So the character conversion is *not* the cause of the crash.
I tried to run the program with the debugger. The crash appears to be caused by
a jump/call/return into an invalid address, because EIP shows the same address
as the one causing the SIGSEGV. So, the stack is being corrupted, or possibly a
table of addresses (vtable ?) has been corrupted or has an uninitialized address.
