File bugs properly. At least helps to read before you paste loads of garbage!

I think this was caused by a lack of graphics memory. I upped GARTSize to 64
(from 32) in my xorg.conf and got something resembling bug 4915 instead (but
upping GARTSize disables DRI on my system and performance becomes absolutely
rubbish :( )

Summary: NHL 2001 demo installer crashs
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: PC-x86-64
URL: http://www.download.com/NHL-2001-demo/3000-7472_4-
2871163.html
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: b.buschinski(a)web.de
With todays wine 18th May 2007
the NHL 2001 installer crash.
It didnt worked correct before.
I dont know if it is ole32 fault
or a wrong msi argument or something
like that.
Because of the fact that this installer
never worked as it should I dont think that
regression testing (for not crashing) will be helpful
but I will do if you like.
I reported another bug about nhl2001 with wine 0.9.25
so I thought I could install it with this version,
but it fails and with 0.9.20 too.
Note: The installer is small just 50mb, try it out :)

Renato, what version of TomTom HOME program you
were testing under Wine? The page [*] tells at
this moment it is v1.2 available.
BTW, is there any changes using Wine-0.9.37?

Created an attachment (id=6356)

terminal output of install with wine 37
This is my terminal output.
VV10proUSB seems to install nearly flawlessly, with no special configuration.
Training module runs well (once you turn up the microphone using ALSA).
Then training data does not save.

John, in general case you need to pass
both stderr and stdout to "tee" command:
$ wine stable32 2>&1 | tee > wine_stable32.log
(note additional "2>&1" string)
