Almost all installers that are disk I/O-intensive exhibit this behavior on my machine, which is perfectly reasonable. The dialog code runs in a separate thread from the action code, so it gets a time slice from the scheduler when it can. > (By the way I'm not a newbie James, I have over 105 bugs filed on here and countless AppDB entries). That's not really a bug...IS installers are very cpu intensive. If you leave the window in the foreground long enough, it'll eventually draw itself again. But that sounds like a different bug. This was tested with .37 on a fresh .wine. I'm trying to find the exact steps and workarounds needed to make the installer complete successfully.
