Yep, but the report exceeds 90MB. I'll run the test today in the evening and
store the log at some human place.

@Hans
Which version of Ascgen2 are you using? 0.6.8 is the last .NET 1.1 version.
The latest use .NET 2.0 features that are not implemented by Mono.

With the latest git source (June 9thish), the new patch does not fix C&C Red Alert.

Both bugs were caused by the same Wine patch. And both are fixed in the current
development tree.
Wait for wine-0.9.39 if you don't want to compile current Wine source to see it
fixed.
Also please don't reply to e-mails from bugzilla, post your comments in the
bugzilla instead.

Dreamweaver 4 trial, which came with the Flash 5 Bible,
hangs at the same place (right after clicking the 'try' button).
Might be a similar problem, I haven't looked hard yet.

Likely, considering the backtrace you're getting and the contents of the patch.

That'll do it. Could you run with +d3d_shader?

The bug I submitted is TOTALLY UNRELATED to anything listed in bug 8572
and the status of the bug I submitted (8661) is in NO WAY RESOLVED!!!!!!!!!
I will not disturb you with any more bug reports or in any other way,
but it is a
shame that after donating to the Wine project I no longer can use it, as the
Steam application was the only app I used Wine for.

Ah. then if this happens in version 0.9.38, it is not due to the gamma correction
