hack/patch
The attached hack makes Sequoia start fine in both virtual desktop, and normal
mode. However, i don't really understand what i'm doing ;) It was found by bit
of trial and error, and looking at the commit that broke Sequoia in virtual
desktop mode. Hopefully someone who understands winpos code , could use it to
write proper fix for this bug...

The installer checks twice if .net 2.0 is installed, once
by checking registry keys and once in the LaunchConditions
action of the MSI installer.
winetricks should perhaps fake .net 2.0 now that mono 1.2.4
is out.

Are these the right registry settings???
I tried plain .wine prefix, winetricks mono11, winetricks mono12, and regedit
net2.reg, but still complains about .NET v2 not being installed.

If you type:
ping auroserver1
what do you get?
If that doesn't work, put auroserver1 in /etc/hosts, make sure ping works, and
if your program still doesn't work attach a +winsock trace.

I can confirm this happening with ati x1400 mobility card, GLSL disabled. With
GLSL game is unplayable because of software vertex/pixel shaders.

Vijay Kamuju, I'm trying with 0.9.38, it has the patch according Damjan Jovanovic.
Damjan Jovanovic, "auroserver1" is localhost, (that should be 127.0.0.1 AFAIK,
or i'm wrong?).
I had add in URL the same as in comment #13, so in case you want try too as I
want to help solving very much.
The log of +winsock is exactly the same as the last I posted:
