Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-net AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: mark.wagner17(a)gte.net Under Wine 0.9.39, the Proxomitron web filter sometimes corrupts large transfers. The bug is intermittent but highly reproduceable: I've never had a successful transfer of a half-megabyte file. Steps to reproduce: 1) Install and run the Proxomitron web filter (http://www.proxomitron.info/files/index.html). Since the systray icon doesn't show up, you can't configure it. 2) Configure a web browser to use the Proxomitron as a proxy server. Address is "localhost", port is "8080". 3) Load a large file in the web browser. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c8/Medstar_Eurocopter_EC135… works well for this. My guess from the effect on images is that the occasional byte is being dropped rather than transferred.
