Confirming. I check all the way back to version 0.9.25, and the problem still
exists there.

Summary: Cosmetic issue with 'Edit Address' in Palm Desktop 3
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.40.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P4
Component: wine-gui
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: bjelbert(a)gmail.com
Palm Desktop 3.0.3 (http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/dt303.html)
installs and runs fine, but within the 'Edit Address' page some buttons are
misaligned, overlapping some fields and they can only be activated from the
right-hand edge. The categories drop-down box (unfiled etc) is similarly
affected, and the Private check box is also tricky to activate.
I'm using Debian Etch, Xorg 7.1.0-16, with Wine 0.9.40 downloaded from
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/index.html.

Installs fine for me in wine 0.9.40. I did have to manually set the registry
value for
KHEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Earth Resource Mapping/ERMAPPER as in reporter's
comment, but afterward started fine. Wasn't sure how to use program though...
Paul, try it in wine 0.9.40. Seems okay now.

I just tried this under wine 0.9.40. From what I can tell from the past
comments, this bug is fixed. The installer does install quite a few files, but
fails later when attempting to install drivers (an error in
ntoskrnl.exe/winedevice.exe).
Lionel, could you try this in wine 0.9.40? I believe this bug is fixed. The
ntoskrnl crash would be a different issue.

Identical problem. The installer crashes with the same error message as Daniel.
In addition, the demo installs but doesn't run.
