It may depend too on the screen resolution, maybe because you use a high resolution the dialog appears far from the main window. Try to move the midle of the confirmation dialog over the main window and see if the confirmation dialog comes to top when you click it. Today I launched winecfg and after clicking on the audio tab, a message indicating that «arts» was not available and asked to remove it from the registry (This is not the cause of the crash but it looks kinda strange since I'm using KDE and arts . After that, I checked ALSA and winecfg crashed. I made another try deleting the .reg files and running winecfg again, this time it crashed after unchecking the OSS box. Note that checking or unchecking slows down my computer. Update to Wine 0.9.40. Remove your .wine prefix, don't install anything native (DCOM). As Austin said, the installer works fine; the app still crashes.
