Unfortunately, I don't know much about msi (beyond it being a database), but I do know someone who is very familiar with this particular installer that might be able to give more information about what is expected. As I'm you you know since, any and all information you can provide would be useful for me to pass on. On another note, I noticed that I can become an advocate for this product at codeweavers. It also said something about DirectInput8 in the log, and voila, no crash anymore.... In game, you can type your name when creating a profile and Q-Key (exit) works, too. But arrow-keys, enter, backspace etc are just ignored by the game. When using native dinput.dll, the game doesn't even start. It crashes before even displaying anything.
