Thanks, that patch completely fixes the reversed X-axis problem for me.
There is still some general unsmoothness with the mouse, and it still bounces
off the edges of the screen in the menu, but actually in game is /far/ more
playable.

After upgrading mikrotik box to 2.9.44 freezing is gone...
Thanks Greg for the tip. Since this bug had nothing to do with wine, I'm
closing this bug and I'm changing resolution to INVALID.

I just tried wine version 0.9.43. The crash I desribed doesn't happen in this
version anymore - though I could only do a quick check at this time. I'll have
a deeper look in some weeks.

I'm incredibly busy this week, but I'll try to try this next week. Thanks for
confirming this with two games.

We've changed html editors a few times since this bug was reported. It is
likely fixed but needs verification.

updated fix for x-axis inversion
I fixed the sensitivity difference between the x- and y-axes. The x-axis only
events were being duplicated. Fixed now.

Fix for inverted x-axis.
This patch fixes the inverted x-axis thing. I have only tested it with Enemy
Territory: Quake Wars.
It might not be the best solution. It seems as if x and y sensitivities are
different. However, this certainly makes the game playable.
