"Video card or driver doesn't support separate alpha blend, glow will be disabled." The CoD4 console pops up (see screenshot) and the game doesn't start. It no longer tries to activate, and on the second run, it says it cannot continue due to a hardware failure. The error err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x1502750 "?" wait timed out in thread 004c, blocked by 0009, retrying (60 sec) pops up on the console during the first run; I wonder if the thread in charge of activation is deadlocking. By the way, It fails to run Word 2003 with the error message: There is not enough memory or disk space to run Word.
