It is to be run on the linux box, and does not need to be run as root (here at least). When run from the terminal, wine reports a segfault before hanging/crashing. OS: Kubuntu 7.10 Steps to reproduce: 1: Set all configurations to default 2: Install Starcraft 3: Run starcraft, attempt to connect to battle.net 4: Download the patch 5: Once patched and the software has restarted, attempt to connect to battle.net again. 6: The program should crash or hang upon hitting the login screen. Wine output from the crash is included in the attachment.
