Complete Console output of Setup.exe until crash occurs; complete GDB backtrace
of dumped core file
When installing the OSDRT Client, the installer halts and the last reported
error message on the console is
Protocol error: process 0015: sendmsg: Bad file descriptor
It appears that this is due to a crash of the wine server. This error happens
reproducably every time I try to install OSDRT Client. A backtrace of the
coredump says:
Core was generated by `/usr/local/wine/lib/../bin/wineserver'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

If I select a large brush size, the brush seems to crawl behind the mouse. I'm
not sure if this is due to my graphics card. I have an onboard ATI Technologies
Inc Rage XL rev 39, Mem @ 0xf1000000/24, 0xf2041000/12, I/O @ 0x9c00/8, which
is supposed to be very slow, but I'm not sure if its enough to cause this
behavior.
Could someone try setting a large paintbrush size and move it around to
determine if this is really a bug? For more information, please see screenshot:

error message
So around the time that 0.9.54 came out I lost COD4 on both my desktop
and laptop. In order for it to work you have to compile wine with the
3dmark patch, so I was using the git, but when that didn't work I tried
52 and 54 tarballs. Thing is I know it worked with the 52 git and with
the 52 tarball it still doesn't work, I've tried reinstalling all the
depends even... I've tried using a completely fresh prefix. I've tried
downgrading my nvidiadrivers(169.09) to 07 and to 100.14.19 on my
laptop(desktop has a 8800GT) and everything else I could think of. Attached
is the error log.
tried versions 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 of COD4
Desktop:
gentoo 2.6.24-r1 amd64
athlon 3800 x2

There are some controls on CS2 that allow you to slide a token indicator along
a scale or to adjust a curve by clicking and dragging on any point across it. I
found multiple examples where these are not working.
1 - Create a new adjustment layer with “Levels”. The resulting dialog has
little sliding tokens to adjust both the input and output levels. On windows
you simply slide them. On Wine you cannot . Here is a screenshot to illustrate:
http://download.erasmix.net/CS2-WINE/Screenshot-1.png
2 -Create a new adjustment layer with “Curves”. The resulting dialog has a
diagonal line that can be adjusted by clicking and dragging anywhere on it. In
Wine this line seems stuck, there is no way to drag points in any direction.
Here is a screenshot to illustrate:
http://download.erasmix.net/CS2-WINE/Screenshot-2.png
3- Create an adjustment layer using “Brightness/Contrast”. This dialog has
little sliding tokens to adjust left or right (these are a bit different than
the ones described on 1). These cannot be slided either. Here is a screenshot
to illustrate: http://download.erasmix.net/CS2-WINE/Screenshot-4.png
