debug log with WINEDEBUG=warn+all
Installing Battlefield does work.
In this case it starts perfectly with no noCD Patch.
Then Patching Battlefield with Patch 1.6. it does not start anymore, without
any Error message on console.
For some others it works, but not here.
System is:
Kubuntu 7.10
Wine 0.9.52 (same results with 0.9.49+)
Attached a log with:
WINEDEBUG=warn+all wine BF1942.exe +restart 1
As it works for others it should not be the safedisc bug, that seems to be
solved since some versions.

Incorrectly rendered menu
Hi,
In latest wine 0.9.52 there is a regression in Commandos 3 affecting rendering
of menu and fonts in the game. I did a regression test and found this commit
with git bisect:
[f3df6cf42b4e705b5e687df08b9f8c3ff8b2d41c] wined3d: Only store the palette
index
Attached is screenshot of the menu.

Summary: Saitek P990 crashes MVP Baseball 2005
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.51.
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: j.craig(a)aggiemail.usu.edu
I initially installed MVP Baseball 2005 with nary a hitch. I found information
on the //HKCU//Software//Wine//DirectInput registry key which enabled me to use
my Logitech Dual Action with the game. However, my dual action has died, so
now I have a Saitek P990. Setting up the Saitek P990 in the aforementioned
registry key causes the game to crash on startup about 90% of the times I try
to run it. Interestingly, approximately 10% of the time it runs fine, just
like it did with the Logitech Dual Action.
