Confirmed for emule 0.48a, emulePlus 1.2c, as well as the MMORPG Arindal (
http://www.arindal.com/ ) which uses wxWidgets.
However, I could not reproduce the problem in WASTE (using 1.5beta3), so I will
assume they found a workaround for that within their code.
The faulty commit after a git bisect is this:
d5478118a1fb4c468ddaf7bccd94b70e855ea7dc is first bad commit

So this had been fixed before, but is now in fact a regression bug.
Can somebody please add "regression" to the keywords? And my guess is the
component is actually "richtext" instead of "user32", but I don't know the wine
code very well.

There are few requirements for these patches to work:
1. DXGrab have to be enabled (winecfg->Graphics first check-box).
2. The cursor should be invisible/turned off by the application (ex FPS game,
not the menu).
3. Optional: remove mouse warping code from the dinput.

This bug seems not to be fixed. I have just tried to install Call of Duty (wine
0.9.58 under Kubuntu AMD64 7.10) and that message was shown again. But I
noticed that the files where correctly placed under the correct directory and I
could start the game normally. But no shortcuts were created.

If most packers work, maybe we should mark this bug fixed
and open a new one for the ones that choke on forwards...
