As nobody seems to play this game anymore, I am marking this bug as abandoned.

Here I'm using the most recent version of Wine to Run Adobe Photoshop CS2
(OpenSUSE 10.3) and I'm receivind the same bug to Open tha application the
second time.
I've installed a full original version of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and wine does not
run propertly.
Here, no hacks.

The same problem is being experienced with compiz on recent Ubuntu releases and
even the latest wine releases (confirmed 0.9.56, 0.9.55 and more). See Bug
10142
Might be the same bug despite being different window managers.

Still present in current git. As for the scrrun.dll, it comes free with
AlltoAvi (
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/alltoavi/AllToAVI_v4_r5394_Setup.exe?modti…
), so i guess not part of Windows so no need to implement that one. Bug in
oleaut32 still present

You need to investigate and fix it if needed in the xrandr layer of
winex11.drv not in ddraw.

I did chmod 000 /dev/input/js* on my PC, and now the joystick works correctly
under Project64. This seems to be a way of fixing it that isn't good enough
though.

Created an attachment (id=11151)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=11151)
hacky fix patch
Finally found a fix. It seems the nvidia linux driver is reporting resolutions
with a 0Hz refresh rate back to ddraw. Before patch
27113156d96d20296409fcb92839609c8dd7e34a, ddraw would ignore it and report back
to the application 60Hz for all resolutions.
Making ddraw report 60Hz again (instead of 0Hz) fixed the problem. The game
works with current git, although VERY slow in battle mode and it is crashing in
the loading screen of campaign mode.
I'll investigate now the other issues.
