No. To apply patches, you have to be in the wine source
tree, not the user's .wine directory, and you then have to rebuild wine.

The different window color doesn't bother me, but I can see no logical reason
to have a different background color for wine programs.

It's crashing right after freeing something...

The logs from the two apps line up very nicely.
Somebody who really understands oleaut might be able to figure this
