FETCH_HEAD:bd324db0597b450cff8b4bc87d20d852319d2196 branch 'master' of
git://source.winehq.org/git/wine seems to be the closest I have to such a thing

No one should ever have to install this package to satisfy another installer.
We should be broadcasting "3.1" or whatever version is requested by builtin
msi.

New information
The log spits out a lot more information when running nfsu2 than before.
I'm sure this has to do with the problem here, it definetly lists all the
functions you should be able to bind to keys.
With native dinput8 it works... almost. (see Bug 10501)
If that matters, cedega has proper keyboard input in both nfsu and nfsu2, but
if you change the defaults, keys stop working. They seem to use some messy
per-application hacks for that.

I would greatly appreciate this bug getting fixed or at least researched. I
mainly use winamp to listen to XM radio. Unfortunately the only way to get to
it is from the media library.

I want to point out that ATI fragment shaders is not special. It is mainly used
to allow bumpmapping to work on older radeon 8500/9000/9100/9200/9300
(rv250/rv280) cards. For this functionality we use an old opengl extension
called ati fragment shaders.
We don't use this at all for shaders as used by directx. The extension is alos
way too limited for that (it only allows pixel shader 1.x).
