Titan's quest crash window
To reproduce it, you just have to launch Titan Poker and close it.
I join the crash window (I'd presume it's more the fault of a Titan's
developper, but I'm not sure they'd do anything for the Linux platform)

Summary: Native Windows ODBC:Firebird stores numbers in sientific
notation using datatype decimal
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.56.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: msvcrt
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: park.jerry(a)gmail.com
The following applications and scripts were used on ubuntu 7.04 and Puppy Linux
3.0.1 with the same results.
Firebird-2.0.1.12855-1 RDBMS
Firebird 2.0.0 ODBC driver
winetricks script from Dan Kegel
mdac2.5 or mdac2.8 per winetricks
Several versions of Wine, including 0.9.55 and 0.9.56
Using decimal datatype with Firebird on WindowsXP and Win2003 server records
whole and decimal numbers correctly in the Firebird RBDMS.
On ubuntu and Puppy Linux with either Linux Firebird or Windows Firebird
running under Wine 0.9.56 and either mdac 2.5 or mdac 2.8, whole or decimal
numbers are stored in scientific notation and lose the power.
We were able to work around this problem by using datatype float rather than
decimal, but some may not be able to change their database schema.

The rail3d installer downloads hundreds of files,
and if any one of them fails, it puts up a
"no error message is available" dialog and
just sits there. I'll attach a log. Oddly,
I don't see any winsock in the log, though I asked for it...

Log of the error occuring, it's pretty much the last line I think
I've just downloaded the newest Wine version, and now my QIP is not working
anymore. I can see the loading screen, and then the program just ends. I've
then installed 0.9.60 and voila: Everything is working fine, again. I started
it using console now: See attachments for the logs.

Summary: Most attempts to save in Warcraft III 1.21a Reign of
Chaos crash the game
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.52.
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: louis(a)qdcec.co.za
I am running Warcraft III Reign of Chaos patched to 1.21a on Fedora 7 x86_64 on
an AMD Athlon 64 with a Radeon X1300. The game runs smoothly but MOST times
when I try to save, the save dialog comes up, I enter a save name, I select
overwrite if applicable, the words Saving Game appear. Now if all goes well
the words turn green and the game continues. If it fails, the words remain
there in white, the sound continues playing, but nothing else happens. If I
overwrote a saved game, that game is no longer in my list of saved games. The
only way out is to wineboot -k -f -s and then to restart from the last
successful saved game. I notice that usually (not always) I can save a game in
the very beginning of the game, and as long as I save again soon it may work.
However, 4 out of 5 times it crashes, making the game very unplayable (if I
need to save -- which I do).

Warcraft III Window disappear for taskbar and screen when changing between
Desktops (but sound still plays). I think it can happen to other applications
too.
Already Reported: BNET doesn't connect anymore
PS: Application was still running at the point of back traces. Only killing the
process works.

This is the console output from Wine
I can install the XDrive Desktop, but when I run it, it crashes giving a
backtrace before I even login. This particular crash may be related to not
having MFC42.DLL. However a similar crash occurs even when MFC42 is added.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #13429 +++
Printing resulted and still results in garbled printouts: approximately the
first half of the first page is like it should be, the rest (of the page, and
the whole of next pages) is garbled, words printedover eachother. I have to cut
and paste the contents into a word processor (like Open Office) to be able to
print an email.
This problem existed in Wine 0.8.x, 0.9.x and 1.0 RC1&2 versions.
Under Windows XP (SP1 and SP2) it was possible to click print an email message.
In Ubuntu (7.04, 7.10 and 8.04) under Wine (0.8.x, 0.9.x and 1.0 RC1/2)
printing is possible, but after the first half of the first page, so including
any following page, it looks like kerning, spacing, centering and use of fonts
get garbled: words can be recognized on the printout, lines are still lines,
but within a line, the text is unreadable, words are printed over eachother, on
the wrong place in a line, and probable words from a next line are printed over
previous lines too.

Summary: Firefox unusable when computer loaded down [dogfood]

If I'm running, say, the wine test suite in the background,
Firefox 3 in wine slows to an unusable crawl,
whereas native Firefox 3 purrs along like a tiger still.
I guess that's the kind of thing a kernel module might
help with. Maybe I should try giving wineserver a
priority boost.
