Screenshot at depth 16bit
It seems there is something wrong with function either
comctl32/toolbar.c:TOOLBAR_DrawMasked or
comctl32/imagelist.c:ImageList_DrawIndirect at screen depth 16 bits per pixel,
because
disable icons on toolbar are invisible. Everything looks fine at depth 24bit,
though. (I attached screenshots). It is worth to mention that with native
comctl32.dll icons also are OK.

I have Wine for 8.04 hardy harin Ubuntu. When I try to add an application to
the list in the configure wine (Applications tab, "Add Application"), it
doesn't display a folder browser. The "Select location" dropdown is there but
is blank, the icons are still there (such as create folder, home, etc), but the
area where you would normally see the folder structure is completely blank.
This did occur right after I had used the drop down box to look at the CD-ROM
Drive.

Summary: Civilization 4's custom mouse cursors do not display
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.49.
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: hein(a)kde.org
Firaxis' turn-based strategy game Civilization 4 includes a set of custom mouse
cursors, such as a rotating planet animation serving as busy cursor and a fancy
metal standard cursor. These custom cursors are displayed in the game on
Windows XP, but not in Wine. Instead, the standard white arrow Windows cursor
is shown at all times (regardless of cursor state, i.e. even when a busy cursor
should be shown).
Tested wine versions include v0.9.49 and today's git
(77ee756c91dfbacc4d42ae4f58f6b145bdc97876). The problem exists in both. The
Wine configuration is fairly untouched. The Windows version is set to
Windows 2000. Pixel and vertex shader support is enabled. Microsoft's MSXML 3
was installed and related DLL overrides added, which is necessary to run the
game.
The tested version of the game is the very latest, namely "Civilization 4:
Beyond the Sword" at patch level 3.13. "Beyond the Sword" is the second
commercial expansion/upgrade pack to the original title, and the preferred
version to play the game.
Testing was undertaken using nVidia's proprietary graphics driver in version
100.14.19 on a GeForce 8800 GTX, with X.org v7.3 (xorg-server v1.4) and Linux
v2.6.23.9. The distribution is Gentoo Linux.

"CSTEXT32.OCX or one of it's components is not properly registered. A file is
missing." I received this error when trying to run the EOL Power Player Tracker

I believe cstext32.ocx is a 3rd party set of components.
I attempted "wine regsvr32 cstext32.ocx" from the command line and received the
output visible in the attached file.
I'm running Wine 0.9.4.6 on Kubuntu Feisty.

This bug pertains to version wine-0.9.59-124-g18828f4. When attempting to
launch the Max Payne demo for the first time from its launcher window, the game
fails to start with a dialog box that does not occur on Windows, then returns
to the launcher screen. An attempt to relaunch the game will simply result in a
C++ exception being thrown. Attached are outputs with d3d traces, glxinfo
output, and a screenshot of the dialog box.
