Anyway I have just checked anno domini's ability to access the internet ( ie on that day tab) and it's now working correctly. So I have changed the 'Resolution' to 'fixed' rather than 'Abandoned'. Apparently this is because of a missing registry key. After adding the key HKLM\\Microsoft\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\App Paths\\IEXPLORE.EXE like it is in windows, the installer finishes just fine.
