Shouldn't this bug be targeted for 1.2.0 since it blocks bug 609 which is
targeted for 1.2.0?

Every thing printed in the shell from when I gave the command to run python

When I try to run Python 3, I get an error message that, among other things, it
cannot find MSVCR90.dll (which I added through winetricks) and python30.dll,
which is part of the python installation. The error messages from the shell are

Summary: Wine is not creating shortcuts properly
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.1
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: tsalacinski(a)gmail.com
When I try to install any software, installer asks if should it create an icon
the desktop. Instead of creating actual icon on the desktop, WINE creates a
"lnk" file on the desktop and actual shortcut in the home directory.
It shouldn't create the lnk file on the desktop - it should just place the
linux shortcut on the desktop (in the place where the lnk file is placed).
