It could be an issue that they fixed. From what I have read 15.1.0 didn't work on Vista and 15.1.1 fixed that, so perhaps whatever they did generally improved compatibility. However since 15.1.0 works on XP it seems logical to expect that Wine in XP mode could also run it. There, when trying to select a colour for the creature, there is a black circle overlay that covers the creature display. When taking the creature for a test drive (to see how it moves etc) there is a weird small black copy of the creature on the screen.
