Summary: Test Case for Inetmib1 fails because its looking for the
test case in the wrong directory
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.20
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: testcases
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: celticht32(a)aol.com
The Test Case for Inetmib1 fails because it is unable to find the executable to
run.
This occurs in both manual and automatic run of the wine test suite.
In the Automatic run there is nothing to tell what the problem is.. the test
just fails. When you manually run the test you find out the issue that is the
cause of the failure. Here is a paste of the error:
[cahrendt@stinky tests]$ make test
../../../tools/runtest -q -P wine -M inetmib1.dll -T ../../.. -p
inetmib1_test.exe.so main.c && touch main.ok
Warning: could not find DOS drive for current working directory
'/home/cahrendt/wine-git/dlls/inetmib1/tests', starting in the Windows
directory.
wine: could not load L"C:\\windows\\system32\\inetmib1_test.exe.so": Module not
found
make: *** [main.ok] Error 126
If you do a ls from the same directory you see the following:
[cahrendt@stinky tests]$ ls
inetmib1_test.exe.so main.o Makefile.in testlist.o
main.c Makefile testlist.c
[cahrendt@stinky tests]$ pwd
/home/cahrendt/wine-git/dlls/inetmib1/tests

Yes, some minor differences (to whit: using the nvidia opengl drivers I now get
an immediate new error dialog on start rather than anything else, and
fullscreen no longer works at all, but that may well be due to a change in my X
configuration; I haven't had time to look into it deeply). But the fundamental
behaviour is the same: using the "xorg-x11" (i.e. mesa/software) opengl drivers
and windowed mode, the game seems to be working well, except that the
characters are not visible.

nullDC 1.0.3 the Dreamcast emulator does nothing when executing it. Nothing
pops up, no error message, just nothing. I have not tried using native Windows
DLL's that are missing in the terminal output, I'm sure it would work though.
I'm mainly filing this bug to increase program compatibility of WINE
out-of-the-box.

That pretty much sums it up.
OU Video Player is bundled with some Open University course DVDROMs. There
isn't really an alternative as the OU apps launch Video Player ignoring any
other media player that's installed.
MPEG-1 is also used.
Workaround: native quartz.dll

Summary: Lotus Notes Client 6.5.5 email adress resolving slowed
down
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.20
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: toralf.foerster(a)gmx.de
Probably a regression between 1.1.19 and 1.1.20 which slowed down Lotus Notes
6.5.5 for a task like resolving an email address.
If I type in "firstname lastname" followed by a comma into the "To." field of a
new mail, it takes usually 1 second with wine-1.1.19 to get the full Lotus
Notes Email address. With wine-1.1.20 it takes up to 20 or 30 seconds.
Furthermore it seems that it needs much longer to open the mailbox database or
to create the window of a new email (even w/ using the local replic).

The Log-Output of the complete build process
I try to build the latest git branch from scratch but the build fails after
some time.
It somehow tries to link 32bit objects with 64bit objects:
/usr/bin/ld: Relocatable linking with relocations from format elf32-i386
(activeds_main.o) to format elf64-x86-64 (activeds.gZarxo.o) is not supported
To build it I used the gentoo ebuild wine-9999. I believe the configuration is
wrong, but could someone shed some light on it? It worked fine a few months
ago.

Not really, the Progman DDE server in shell32.dll is an empty stub.
