Notice the purple line below the sprite. This is not seen on windows.
The game is programmed in DarkBASIC Pro. It uses Direct3D to draw the sprites.
It must be a problem in the way wine stores or draws the textures.

Output to console preceding the crash
Visio 2003 installs and runs (with gdiplus set to native) fine, but crashes
after a few seconds (irrespective of interaction) when a new file is created,
or one opened.
If gdiplus is left to the default value then the splash screen appears, but the
application does not start.

Summary: Printers can't print format largers than A4
Product: Wine
Version: CVS/GIT
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wineps.drv
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: max(a)veneto.com
Tested on Autocad and Excel.
If I choose a print format larger than A4 (21x29.7 cm, printer standard) the
printout gets clipped at the A4 format like it would be hard-wired in code.
Selecting the printer into application behaves correctly, showing all supported
formats, but none biggest than A4 size gets printed correctly.

Summary: Star Blaze: Error preventing start of game
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0-rc3
Platform: PC-x86-64
URL: http://www.astonshell.com/starblaze
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: mycroes(a)gmail.com
When starting the game (either through launcher or directly) it will show an
error message titled 'Internal Error' with the following content:
.\Common\shape81.cpp (324)
(!Shape_VB)
Shape VB Lost
There's just one fixme on the console (that's all the output):
fixme:mountmgr:harddisk_ioctl unsupported ioctl 4d004
Occasionally it shows the message and then dies on a page fault, causing the
message to dissapear directly. (I have no stability issues of any kind, for
instance GTA: Vice City runs fine.)
If more information is needed I hope someone can point me to some kind of
documentation or guide, because I can't seem to find any information but the
Bugs page on the wiki.

Application is Fugawi 4.5.
I had to override gdiplus.dll (-> native only), because of a lot of "Access
violation" windows. The application makes use of a lot of custom graphics, so I
think this one little override should be okay.
But I get an error window when importing maps (which is pretty essetial,
because Fugawi's main purpose it to display maps). Scanning for map files is
the last operation that works fine. A list of maps is shown. Then, in the next
operation, Fugawi tries to analyze/import the scanned map files. I think it
also wants to copy the files into another directory (yes, the current user is
able to write into that directory). Right after the very last map (no matter
which one), en error window says "OLE error 80004002". None of the maps have
been imported. Here's what wine tells me in the terminal:
fixme:ntdll:NtQuerySystemInformation info_class
SYSTEM_PROCESSOR_PERFORMANCE_INFORMATION
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32f810,0x00000000), stub!

Summary: Paint Shop Pro 7 hangs when inserting text

First error log
In the appdb it actually mentions PSP7 needs a bit of hacking to get going with
custom DLL's, but that is now inaccurate, PSP7 installs and runs no problem
without custom DLL's, except for the following...
When you try to insert text, the insert text window comes up, and as soon as
you start typing, PSP 7 hangs.
I ran the program from the terminal and attached an error log that was dumped
on the screen.
I then killed PSP 7, it returned to the terminal and another error log was
dumped on the screen straight after, I added that as a second attachment.
I am running Wine 1.0 RC5 (1.0 RC4 option was not yet in bugzilla) on Ubuntu
Hardy 64 bit from the winehq repository.
I am filing this under msvcrt, since this line in the error log caught my eye:
wine: Call from 0x7b844c50 to unimplemented function msvcrt.dll._ismbclegal,
aborting

Cake Poker installer msxml traces
With today's Git (wine-1.1.9-139-g8cdbeac), when starting the installer, during
the install phase, a dialog box appears with the message:
"Failed to copy 'C:\windows\temp\42238\.exe' to 'C:\Program Files\\.exe",
error: File not found (2)"
Using the suggestion from the AppDB entry for the application to install native
msxml3, the installation succeeds. msxml traces are attached.
