Hello Nikolay,
for example ftp.debian.at as server.
I'm using wine 1.1.22 from the debian lenny repository - I think it should be a
version with your commit, is it?
wine --version tells me wine-1.1.22 ...
Thanks!

water bug randomly fixed
The water will not gradually become water, it's just one solid color, Dark
Blue. Also will not show what's underneath the water, such as seaweed, etc.
While playing for a while, the sound abruptly shuts off but the gradient for
water started to be drawn correctly, as well as what's underneath the water.
Very strange bug...

no gradient or gradual change from visited to unvisited land
AOM does show visited and unvisited areas properly because it does not show any
gradient texture.
New uncovered land isn't smooth, it goes by block. If one block on the grid has
been touched with the smallest amount of the line of sight of an ally or
yourself it will uncover the entire block rather than just the area where the
line of sight touched it. Objects, however, will only appear when the line of
sight touches them, working as they should.

normal dump of output of spore crash
I have not been successful getting Spore to run on my laptop. I have tried
many different tips and tricks, including starting from a clean wine directory,
installing DirectX9, changing the OffScreenRenderingMode, removing PulseAudio,
and installing the latest Spore patch. I have not tried compiling from GIT.
Here are the specs:
Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid
Wine 1.1.8
Kernel 2.6.27-7-generic #1 SMP
clean wine directory
Spore 1.0
No EA Download Manager
vm.mmap_min_addr = 0
command line:
mike@fliptop:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Electronic Arts/SPORE$ wine
Sporebin/SporeApp.exe -safe
Attached is the console output without a debug trace, showing unable to load
winedos.dll followed by a segfault. I have set vm.mmap_min_addr = 0, but still
get the crash. Any ideas?

Hi,
I've been using Ubuntu for ar least 2 years now and I think Wine is a really
great project. That said, here are 2 bugs that, known to me, have always
existed :
My computer use an Nvidia 7900 GS and I've installed proprietary drivers. I use
2 screens and I have setuped the X server as "Twinview" (doing sudo
nvidia-settings). I have no problem in the desktop nor to start native 2D/3D
Ubuntu apps in full screen.
When it comes to start an application that runs in full screen (Warcraft III,
Half-Life 2 for examples) Wine don't understand that my server X is in
"TwinView" mode and applications are unusable. To use Warcraft III, Hlf2 or so,
I need to configure xorg.conf using sudo nvidia-settings, deactivate
compiz-beril and then restart X : that means loosing everything that is started
on the current session...
I also observed in general that using full screen apps (again Warcraft III or
hlf2 as example), using alt + tab doesn't work.
In every matter, thank your all for your effort !
