Crashday 1.1 has no textures in wine version 1.1.13, although they work in
1.1.12. Please fix this in the next release if possible.
If anyone cares, theres a Crashday demo:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=crashday+demo
I never tried that one with wine, but the bug is surely there, too, since it
has the same engine.

Sometimes a few seconds are missing or repetite. wine 1.1.9 runs it

Summary: alt.binz: memory leak. Regression since 1.1.7.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.9

An NZB file to import into Alt.binz which references Usenet articles that are
known to trigger the memory leak
Both Wine v1.1.8 and v1.1.9 rapidly leak memory whilst using Alt.binz to
download certain Usenet articles, whereas v1.1.7 remains fine.
Using Wine 1.1.7 after 30 minutes downloading:
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
steve 18012 15.5 1.5 3722036 32804 ? Sl 15:08 5:10 altbinz.exe
Using Wine 1.1.8 after 15 minutes downloading:
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
steve 1277 28.0 25.6 3723204 528200 ? Rl 14:33 3:17 altbinz.exe
Nearly half a GiB has leaked already. This seems to be proportional to the
size of articles downloaded/decoded so far in this session.
Eventually Alt.binz will start to display various out-of-memory dialogues and
cease responding.
Whether or not memory is leaked seems to be related to some property of the
articles being downloaded; I believe it's only Yenc encoded articles that are
affected. To aid with reproducing this problem I've attached an .NZB file
which will queue articles known to trigger the problem immediately in v1.1.8
but not at all in v1.1.7.

Black screen with EVE mouse pointer
I just installed wine on a new Ubuntu 8.10 using the package from
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt. I used the
http://winezeug.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/install-wine-deps.sh script to install
all dependencies. Then I downloaded the current EVE premium client
(version=5.20 build=70124 - Quantum Rise 1.0.1) and installed it. Everything
worked fine.
When I start EVE.exe ("wine .wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/CCP/EVE/eve.exe") the
spash screen is being shown but all I got after the slapsh screen is a black
screen where I can move my eve mouse pointer (see screenshot), nothing else
will happen after that point.
