Try to communicate with the phone from linux native application (e.g. slink from SieFS http://chaos.allsiemens.com/siefs/). In my case "slink i" works only once. The second run returns error. (But if I disconnect and connect the phone it works - once.) Upon attempting to run Freedom Force via Steam, a popup dialog box appears saying, "Installing Microsoft DirectX for Windows (Step 1 of 1), next another popup titled "Alert", saying "alert: init renderer," appears.
