Still present in wine-1.1.26-184-g234bbf3.
It's most likely a property sheet bug, native comctl32 is a workaround.

Summary: Command and Conquer Generals listens to loopback for
network connections

Screenshot of loopback behavior
It seems that Command and Conquer generals listens only on the loopback address
for network connections. As a result, network play is impossible. Strangely,
sometimes you can actually see other games on the network, but you cannot join
them. Even direct connections fail. When examining your own network settings,
it seems bound to a loopback address (see screenshot).

Guybrush with blue face
Hello,
I use wine-1.1.26 on Ubuntu jaunty.
In "Escape from Monkey Island" Guybrush has a blue face.
I did not test the game with windows but I don't think this is normal.

Same behavior in 1.1.26 -- shows the "You may play for 100 turns" dialog, click
ok, terminal says:
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32f6d4,0x00000000), stub!
Nothing comes up.
If you hit ctrl-c in the terminal then you get tons of this message:
err:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x7ee23460, level 2): Holding 0x7ed00fe0, level 3.
Expect deadlock!

Sorry, this bug should've been on the 'is this still an issue' list.

Provide the needed information? What needed information do you want?
I'm waiting for either the backbuffer rendering to be cleaned up and the best
way to put it is probably like what Ivan said, "It's an ugly mess". Or the
addition of FBO or pbuffers to my Mesa driver could also fix it, and I have
been waiting patiently for that too.
