wine-1.1.26-231-gfe9d360 +profile log @ first run (create new INI files, set
parameters in the empty section)
Adding WINEDEBUG=+profile log of the first run with current wine.
The application (on first run) creates the INI files and populates the
empty string section with the application configuration (note firstload=1),
and in addition it populates sections with "empty string" keys.
Second run profile log follows this one.

Austin,
I tested this with wine 1.1.26 tonight and the bug still exists. Mouse-overs
worked initially, but then stopped working after switching to the lobby window
and back.
You can download the client software from here:
http://www.pokerstars.com/PokerStarsInstall.exe

"
Now you'll have to register these library by calling "wine regsvr32 dpnet.dll".
This will add some needed registry entries."
How can I do that?? THX

Is there some way we could change the title of this bug to something like:
"DirectPlay not implemented in Wine, and needs native Windows dlls to be
installed."
... otherwise, for example in the Total Annihilation page,
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=7306 , someone
just glancing at the page might assume that, as the bug says at the moment,
online play actually doesn't work, which is not exactly what the bug is saying,
and not really true, since there are workarounds available, by following the
instructions at http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlayGames .

Adding Austin English to the CC list since he was looking where to download and
test this bug. Maybe he can figure it out or point a wine developer at this
bug. :-)

I've attached 2 screenshots that show the problem on wine 1.1.26 under Ubuntu
9.04 (Jaunty). The PokerStars client is version 3.158 and the installer can be
downloaded here:
http://www.pokerstars.com/PokerStarsInstall.exe
Here's a recipe to reproduce the problem:
1. Download PokerStarsInstall.exe from above
2. Run the installer 'wine PokerStarsInstall.exe'
3. Click 'Next'
4. Agree to the license agreement and click 'Next'
5. Click 'Install' to do an express install
6. Click 'Finish'
7. If any 'News' windows pop-up, click the 'Close' button
8. Click the 'Play Money' tab
9. Scroll down the list until you find a table with more than 2 players and
double-click on it
10. Resize the window
