First off the installer worked fine after working around the IE5 riched20 issues which if seem to be original program bugs rather than wine defects (thanks winehq). Like testing for the presence of riched20 rather than trying to load the require libs. Voice training is now near perfect , worthy of platinum rating. Many thanks for the progess there. At this point I was in a state of high optimism. Sadly, it did not last. On running natspeak it got a brief series of msgs to console and a diminuative "window" with the mike icon (which did turn on and off). My installation of Office2003 is still broken (Wine 1.1.2-last GIT). I did not test previous versions because I know it was broken for other issues and I would not have any git bisect good. Here the details: Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 System Builder, German Version, copyright 2004. Tested: Custom installation without Outlook and Access (here must be noted that access is installing although I said no). It is crashing after a very quick message about typelib libraries. However, if you start the installation again, it is going through, even installing what I didn't want to install (i.e. it makes a repair install although I selected to start the full installation again).
