Newest HackShield isn't working again. Errors with code 0x00000108, which
there's no real information on what it means, just that it's caused by some
anti-virus that I obviously don't have since I'm running it in Wine.
This is used in the mmorpg Mabinogi, in my case.

Summary: When installing StarTopia, the destination folder is
fixed to c:\windows, changing does not work
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.41

Output from wine
I tried to install StarTopia. (Really like the game.) But when I try this the
destination folder remains fixed of c:\windows. Though the setup allows me to
change it. When I arrive at the summary it is still c:\windows. Clicking back
and changing it again doesn't fix it either. When I try to install the game
with those settings I get a 0x8002000E error and the installer quicks. Nothing
is actually copied.
Tried both when emulating win2000 and winxp. Used a clean wine folder freshly
created with winecfg.

Summary: Single key press registered as double key press

In the game Star Trek Online holding down on the W A S D keys is interpreted as
a double strike of the keys.
The intended action is the key should be held down and the character or ship
should move in the indicated direction smoothly. Instead the game thinks the
key is being pressed twice in quick succession causing an alternative action.
This is causing the characters to either roll or stutter in the direction
wanted breaking smooth game play.
The issue can be intermittent but happens the majority of the time and the
current work around is to navigate around the game by holding down both mouse
buttons.
I should note I do not currently have a subscription to this game but many
users are reporting this fault so a bug needs to be created. Hopefully these
users will fill in any required information. In the standard console output
there are no errors or warnings in relation this this bug.

The installer file of IMatch creates a Start Menu entry when running in Windows
2000 Professional (no matter if natively installed or running in a VirtualBox),
but does not in WINE. In WINE only 2 desktop icons are created: "IMatch
3.6.lnk" with the MS Windows icon on it, and "IMatch 3.6" with the usual IMatch
icon.

This behaviour happens with IMatch 3.6.0.90, too. See
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=15969 for details.

Summary: Volume names and serial numbers not right on .iso
files, can't change in winecfg?
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.41
Platform: x86

Mentioned here:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=149
When installing by mounting disc 1's iso loopback,
starting the installer, then unmounting and mounting disc 2's iso loopback,
Starcraft fails to notice the disc change, and keeps prompting for disc 2.
This happens even though the second disc really is mounted properly.
+relay etc. shows that the installer is doing "dir d:" itself using cmd!
Presumably it's parsing the output, and not liking something it finds.
The first two lines of diff between dir with a real disc and an iso are
-Volume in drive D is SCDisc2
-Volume Serial Number is A351-A0F2
+Volume in drive I is
+Volume Serial Number is 0000-0000
Shouldn't these be correct even though it's a loopback mounted iso? The
volume name is in the .iso, after all.
You can try to change these in winecfg, but nothing happens.
Dunno if that's what it's unhappy about, but it seems not unlikely...

Crash log (Autodesk Inventor 2010)
Autodesk Inventor Professional 2010 crashes during setup. May be this bug
depends of gdiplus Wine component, because install native gdiplus from
winetricks, solve this problem.
I use prepackaged binary Wine from official OpenSuSe repository and clean Wine
directory without any dll override.
