Summary: mWavEdit: Run-time error '451'
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.41
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: oleaut32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: ld0d(a)kolumbus.fi
The SoundTower Microwave Editor 4.0.1
(download at http://www.soundtower.com/microwave/mw2_files/mw2_page.htm) fails
to start after installation, with the error message:
Run-time error '451':
Property let procedure not defined and property get procedure did not return an
object
This appears to be a regression; with wine-1.1.40 the program works fine, but
with wine-1.1.41 it fails. I bisected the problem to commit
5893f3227c88d8db2c6622be23af81f90d1b1e47 -- after reverting this commit the
program works fine again.

Log: WINEDEBUG=fixme-all,+font,+ddraw wine age2_x1.exe 2> debug.txt
Tested on Wine 1.1.41 with Age of Empires II: The Conquerors, it definitely
exists. Not sure if it helps, but I decided to run a few debug channels on it
and attach the logs here as well.

Connection to Ubisoft's Server
Ubisoft use a new DRM system To prevent the hacking of its games.
To play at this game (Assassin's Creed II), You have to be to connect to
Internet permanently.
On Windows Seven, when i launch the game, there is a launcher to connect me to
the servers of ubisoft.
On Linux, I have an error message told me : failed to start proxy instance
I think that Wine don't manage to connect at Ubisoft's server.
(Sorry for my english, i'm french)

Because I have a dual core processor and it says everywhere that it's not going
to work and so I thought I should use schedtool and save myself the trouble.
Jeez, I'm not just doing it to irritate you.

If you don't have a problem then why are you trying to use schedtool?

Well I didn't encounter the problem myself, running in a clean prefix, win98
setting.
How long should I be waiting?
I don't believe I managed to set schedtool in a way which would have had an
effect :P
I did get the same/similar error as comment #14 but wine only seemed to hang
briefly on installation with it
