The sub menu of the other games works too. After loading screen and intro movie, you see black screen only, while music is still playing. It's a regression bug. With wine version 1.0rc3 this bug doesn't exist - the game is fully playable in fullscreen mode. After this I tested versions 1.1.3 - 1.1.7 and they all have this bug. Tested with clean .wine directory. Console output from running Pharaoh.exe is the same for all versions above, including 1.0rc3. OS: Ubuntu 10.04. Wow Runs in windowed mode, and using ALSA. (OSS is shuttering) One machine has a Creative Audigy2, the other is an Asus k50in laptop with some nvidia based card. Wow starts up, and randomly sound is gone. Play sound in background is enabled. Only restart gets it back. Didn't experience this on previous Ubuntu versions, so the bug might be somewhere in the upgraded OS.
