Actually there are some software like keygens that require this dll.

it was terminated prematurely. See attached for error.

Kubuntu 10.01 64 bit
Wine 1.2 installed from the ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa repository
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King patch 3.3.5
WoW works OK with Wine 1.1.42. Once I upgraded to 1.2, if I Alt-Tab away from
WoW it works, when I Alt-Tab back to it it shows up and hangs, and if I attempt
to Alt-Tab back again the window list from KDE shows "No Windows."

Summary: StarCraft II crashes unpredictably or has severe
graphic errors after a few minutes
Product: Wine

wine output
StarCraft II ran smoothly in wine. A couple of days ago, two parameters
changed:
- I updated OpenSuse from 11.2 to 11.3.
- StarCraft II Patch 17 came out.
Now SC2 is very unstable. The following happens when I launch StarCraft II
Beta:
1) About 70% of the time, SC2 would crash immediately and not draw its window.
2) About 15% of the time, SC2 would crash after a couple of seconds in main
menu.
3) About 10% of the time, SC2 would crash after matchmaking (search for
player... players found.. crash (before countdown starts)
4) About 5% of the time, SC2 would run smoothly, but about 10 minutes into the
game all graphics will be corrupted (the game itself continues to run and still
responds to user input). Every single object is split along the diagonal: the
bottom right half is black while the top left half is normal. This is true for
every unit, every icon, and worst of all for the whole screen.
Attached a log-file for case 3). Please tell me if you need more log-files.
Wine Version 1.2 + patch as described in the SC2 Howto:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19376.
StarCraft II Patch 17
OpenSuse 11.3, error occurs on gnome and kde alike.

Summary: Silent Hill 2: messing up with pixels
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.29
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: t0p0linik(a)yahoo.it
I attached the video clip showing ingame behaviour. The game is unplayable. I
simply started a new game just to show you the issue.
First of all, look at the fading effects: graphics gets wrong when starting
fading.
Let's start, skip the intro (it's bink video, this works ok) and look what
happens into the room: some walls move, some others don't, James leaves a
"shadow" made of pixels behind himself, this is disgusting.
Then, after finishing the intro ("Mary... could you really be in this town?") I
try to get out from that room: this isn't easy at all! At last, I get out
(again, the fading is corrupted).
Now, the worst: outside, soon the fog covers everything so what you can see is
just...fog! And the statements don't disappear, they just appear one above
another, while the fog makes the older ones fade.
Please, help!
Is this a wine issue? or is it a video driver issue?
Note that this doesn't happen when I run "native" games (such as
neverball/neverputt).

Simulation still doesn't work with Visual Pinball 9.0.7 and Wine 1.2. (although
editor works)
VP is now Opensource. Perhaps this could help. You can download it at
sourcforge:

I still experience lags with in-game mouse pointer and really slow movements
especially in combat in stable 1.2. Probably that's because I have much weaker
hardware than you (notebook with 1-core AMD Turion 2.0 GHz + VIA Chrome9 video
card). But it's still tens times faster than a hardware needed to run Fallout
1/2 flawlessly on Windows.

In current git (1.2), I do not experience lag with the mouse in-game in Fallout
1 and 2. Can some of the posters try again? If you still experience jerky
movements and lag, can you tell me how to reproduce this bug?
