The problem is that CATIAV5R19 crashes during setup (doesn't even start to copy files). Microsoft Dynamics GP trial's installer wants mdac 2.8.1; fine, so let the app's installer do that, run twice to work around bug 5824. It then needs .net 1.1; fine, so let the app's installer do that... that runs into bug 10134. I worked around that by using native dcom98 to finish the .net install. OK, so then I run MS Dynamic GP's trial installer again, expecting it to get past those two known problems and into a new one. The missing one seems to belong to WICWmpDecoder which seems to be completely unimplemented.
