Wine log
The original CD is not recognized when launching EGU.
I switched the "windows version" (on Wine config) from windows xp to windows 98
(otherwise I get the error message "unimplemented function
ntoskrnl.exe.IoGetDeviceProperty"), but I cannot bypass this error :
"Wrong disk inserted. Please insert the original disk into your CD/DVD drive"
It is displayed by wine, on a message box.
Wine log is attached.

terminal output
I cannot get past the main menu in Spectromancer: as if mouse clicks didn't
register when clicking on any of the menu items.
To reproduce the problem in the demo:
After launching the demo only the background is drawn: you have to click on the
lower left part of the screen and the menu appears. Here comes the trouble:
after clicking on any of the menu items nothing happens. Oddly enough if you
press the <ESC> button and the left mouse button in turn, while the mouse is
over one of the menu options, the corresponding window flashes for a brief
moment but it vanishes almost instantly.
The same problem happens back until Wine-1.2-rc2. Previous versions don't even
start the game correctly.

Summary: Bottom of windows cut of with KDE4 Dual-Head Setup
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.37
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: m.duelli(a)web.de
I am running a KDE4 dual-head setup, i.e. two parallel monitors, on Gentoo.
I have the KDE control bar displayed only on the left screen.
When I start MS Word 2007 via wine 1.1.37 and place it on the right screen
(which does not have the control bar!) I can see a cut off bottom when I
maximize the window via the window manager.
I will attach two screenshots:
- The first shows a window which fits to the screen as if there was also a
control bar on the right screen.
- The second shows a maximized window on the right screen with the bottom cut
off
Note:
I also tried to manually resize the window to the maximum of the screen.
This basically works at first, but when you change between applications, the
bottom of the manually resized window is also cut off.

Summary: Bioshock 2 cannot pass release date check
Product: Wine

Terminal output for Bioshock 2 launcher -- release date check
Upon first launch Bioshock 2 will connect to the internet and attempt to
validate the release date. This gets stuck at 30% and never completes.
Sometimes it times out with an error.
I should note that some web searching shows this occurs sometimes on Windows as
well, and that there is a manual workaround if needed:
http://www.digitalworksweb.com/securomsupport/bioshock2_unlock_rc/
Looking at the terminal output points to some unimplemented information classes
in ntdll as the most likely culprit.

The game Pathologic (from Buka) hangs on starting up. Tried with the digital
distribution version of the game from Gamersgate which contains no
copy-protection.
A demo version can be downloaded here:
http://www.gamershell.com/download_13148.shtml
Symptom: the game changing the gamma of the screen when starting, then hangs
(no error messages). I have to kill the process and restore the gamma through
Nvidia control panel. I've tried both fullscreen and virtual desktop mode, the
same hanging occurs.
Wine-1.1.37 compiled from source, clean wine install without any winetricks
